A physical on site audit of your telephony systems can be conducted by Telecom Security to identify physical security issues with recommendations to resolve each.
Methodology:
- Meeting to determine the scope of the audit. We will tailor our audit to your specific requirements which will be agreed before the audit commences
- The physical security audit can include;
- Access to communications risers within the building
- Access to telephone handsets in public areas of the building
- Access to telephone handsets in areas only accessible to staff which are still “public” handsets ie; not allocated to a staff members desk
- If a call accounting application is in use - recommendations for reports to identify abuse / toll fraud
- Access to each of the physical PABX’s and telephone system infrastructure
- Potential physical risks to the communication system; malicious tampering, power failure, lightning and overheating
- technical countermeasures (bug sweeping)
- Telecom Security will provide a comprehensive report with both best practice recommendations written for management and technical information required by the PABX maintainer.
Options:
This review can include an audit of the policies and procedures for access to the various buildings and facilities from the tenants and property owners’
points of view if requested.
